S Series

Windscreen wipers series S shall be used on large sized windows (arm length up to 1200 mm) both for professional and pleasure boats applications, even for a particularly heavy duty. The power supply voltage can be 12/24Vdc or 110/220Vac.
Windscreen wipers series S are characterized by a compact design, easy installation and maintenance and high strength for heavy duty service.

Windscreen wipers series S are constructed out of non-corrosive and top-quality materials and extensive customization of finishes is available. They comply with the IEC 60945 standard.

Wiper system components and configuration

Windscreen wipers series S consist of three main elements:

Wiper motor unit: S (Centralized control systems PWS.1V); SU (Centralized control systems UCP, UCS); SDCS2 (Distributed Control System DCS)
Wiper arm S91F (pendulum arm), S91P or T09P (pantograph arm)
Wiper blade: all model with arm fixing «U» shaped, maximum length 1300mm

The S series windscreen wipers can have the following control systems:

PWS.1V control system: it is a centralized control system. It is designed to operate single speed wiper motors with power supply voltage from 12 up to 30 Vdc. It consists in a control unit and a softouch panel in communication via CAN bus. This system allows synchronization of wiper arms movement, up to a maximum of 5, both in continuous and intermittent operation.
UCS control system: it is a centralized control system. It can manage within 2 wiper motors and up to 3 auxiliary devices. Power supply voltages of 24 Vdc and 110 – 220 Vac
UCP control system: it is a centralized control system. It can manage within 10 wiper motors and up to 4 auxiliary devices. power supply voltages of 24 Vdc and 110 – 220 Vac.
DCS control system: it is a distributed control system suitable to manage motors with integrated CAN bus interface. It allows to operate up to 12 groups from 1 up to 8 wipers. It allows a perfect synchronization of the wipers in all operating conditions, both in continuous and intermittent operation mode. Synchronization occurs even if the wipers are different in dimensions and wiping angles. The DCS system provides the possibility to drive auxiliary devices that normally equips ship bridge, like solenoid valves of window rinse system, glass heater and wiper heater contactors and other devices.
